I have a problem, which is that despite setting mm as the main and sub unit, in the OpenPlant Modeler tab - when inserting apparatuses/pipelines, etc., a main unit is inches. In the other tabs - Drawing, Visulization, the main unit is mm according to the file settings. I will be grateful for help or tips on how to fix it.
Hello FionaIn OpenPlant Modeler component are being placed based on units defined in specification file. So if your workset is of imperial project unit and spec file contains nominal dia in inches then during placement of component it will show the sizes in inches.In your case you have have changed the drawing unit setting to mm that's why getting result in mm but for inserting of components it is fetching records from spec that's why it is showing the sizes in inches.If you have more concerns related to this query, we would request you to please raise service request using below provided link
