Everything is working fine except for Isometric styles. If I do a change in the workspace in PW the isometric style changes aren't loaded in OPM. Have tried purge workspace and so on. If I start Isometric Manager and load the PW workspace from there it works.Is something regarding the Isometric styles missing in the instruction above? Do I need to set and lock also on some OPIM_ISOMETRIC config variable in a PW config block?
Hi Johan,Thankyou for posting your query on Bentley Technical Forum.Could you please confirm which version of OPM CE you are using.From Update 8 this issue is fixed.
New tool Update to ProjectWise has been added to style configuration dialog as shown below
Notice that by default, this tool is disabled. We need to enable it by setting couple of variables.
To enable it navigate to below mentioned path and open opimStartUp.cfg file in notepad. Remove the comment from below highlighted variables. ALLOW_UPDATING_USER_STYLE_CHANGES_TO_PWMWS=1
ALWAYS_PERFORM_FULL_REFRESH_OF_STYLE_FOLDER_FROM_PWMWS=1
Save all the modified changes.
Load OpenPlant Isometrics Manager, Notice that Update to ProjectWise tool is enabled now as shown below Perform desired changes to respective style. Once done, click on Update to ProjectWise. This will prompt a Confirm Update dialog. Click on OK, refer image as shown
With above operation, required changes should reflect as user end. Note: Please ensure from user/client end to reload the entire session once changes are pushed from admin into ProjectWise.Kindly please do this above changes and do let us know the outcome.RegardsAshutosh Patil
HiRunning OPM CE Update 9Sorry, my question might be a bit unclear....Isometric Manager is working fine but if I create a iso from OPM the isometrics workspace styles is not updating if administrator have changed the style in PW.Other workspace changes are working.Generally we always generate isos this way.But yeah, ALWAYS_PERFORM_FULL_REFRESH_OF_STYLE_FOLDER_FROM_PWMWS=1 might do the trickHowever I dont want to change the opimStartUp.cfg on each client machine. Can I put it in some PW config block?

I added the two config variables to opimstartup.cfg on my computer.So now I can Update the styles to PW and so on....but NO, Its still not downloading the latest style configs from PW.For example in this case I have changed the isoseed.dgn directly in PW but Im still not getting it to OPM in the PW workspace.Seems like bugg to me...
This seems to be bug wrt OPIM one as it download entire workspace and respective iso style folder into dms folder.Also I would request you to please log an SR for this issue.
