With a number of application to run, I'd like to separate them at the Workset level by application using:
_USTN_WORKSETROOT = $(_USTN_WORKSPACEROOT)Worksets/$(_USTN_Product_Shortname)/$(_USTN_WORKSETNAME)/
instead of
_USTN_WORKSETROOT = $(_USTN_WORKSPACEROOT)Worksets/$(_USTN_WORKSETNAME)/
The moment I do I get no Workset errors and I can't go any further. I wouldn't have thought the configs would be this fragile.
Any reason this would happen and is there a preferred way to do this?
Thanks,
Hi Bear,
vanilla config for _USTN_WORKSETSROOT seems to be
_USTN_WORKSETSROOT = $(_USTN_WORKSPACEROOT)WorkSets/
For your case, have you tried:
_USTN_WORKSETSROOT = $(_USTN_WORKSPACEROOT)Worksets/$(_USTN_Product_Shortname)/
I haven't Tuan, only issue is that I still need $(_USTN_Product_Shortname)/$(_USTN_WORKSETNAME)/. Especially when it comes to OpenPlant. It's all about trying to keep my workflows for builds as much as I can and reducing copies of things.
Issue resolved, though not ideal.
cfg files must sit under _USTN_WORKSETROOT = $(_USTN_WORKSPACEROOT)Worksets/ and not _USTN_WORKSETROOT = $(_USTN_WORKSPACEROOT)Worksets/$(_USTN_WORKSETNAME)/.
I can work with that at least and set up package driven cfg files if things get too out of hand.
Hello Bear,
the variable you are looking for is $(_ENGINENAME).
If you use this variable, the directory with the application name will be used.
_USTN_WORKSETROOT = $(_USTN_WORKSPACEROOT)Worksets/$(_ENGINENAME)/$(_USTN_WORKSETNAME)
I thought about that Jonas, but ended up using a custom cfg to keep the directory length down.
