Since the introduction of Update 8, facing no longer works as it used to. Only pairs of values are connected with each other. When will this be solved ?
Thanks for posting query to Bentley Plant forum. If you are using the custom project in update 8 and you want to use the same project in update9 then you need to upgrade your project from Update 8 to 9.
If you want to use a new project then you can directly use update9.
Thanks for the quick reply. That an upgrade is necessary, that is clear.
The point is that in U7 you could configure the facing so that the values A and B could connect. From U8 only A and A & B and B can be used.
You can edit which facing can fit together via the OpenPlant Project Administrator (CONNECT Edition).Go to your WorkSet --> OpenPlant Modeler and search for "Match Property Map Facing" in the right hand side of the window. You can also do this for Ratings.
Here is an article in the Bentley-Wiki which illustrates the steps:

Thank you Florian S. for the hint.
This does not work anymore since update 8.
This is an official bug.
Okay,
we are currently running Update 9 and I just tested it with a weldneck flange, facing B1 and a blind flange, facing A. It works. I think we set it up with Update 8 and then schemas were upgraded to Update 9 later on.
Strange, but I hope it keeps on working in the future updates.
Wondering why it does not work for you. Just some points one can easily miss, while doing this customization,:
Or is this only happening in the latest minor update "OpenPlant Modeler 10.09.02.11" and is another one of those cases were an update means something gets broken although it used to work :) ?
