Hi all,
why OpenPlant Project Administrator log file is always empty?
It create more log files of 0KB
I want to check Specification Generator logs for example. I enable logging and set "Info" level on Preferences, but empty log files are generated.
Version of OPPA is Update 9
Can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance
I found log files in: %AppData%\Bentley\Logs but CatalogEditor.log is empty, even if I receive an error repairing sys_ids, for example:
Thanks for posting query to Bentley Plant forum. Can you please tell me which version of OPPA , are you using currently ? Did you add any value in Sys ids column or it has blank ?
Thanks for reply. I use version 10.09.00.74.
I use the "Renew Sys_ID" because my mdb catalog has blanks in SYS_ID column (catalog has been created with an automatic procedure).
Everything is working fine, except for two tables: MISC_FIT, PENETRATION.
PIPE table, for example, is OK. SYS_ID column has been filled correctly.
I suspect there's something strange in that two tables... too many columns? Strange field name or data?
But if Catalog Editor does not write error in log file I think it's very hard to find...
I found this article:
c# - Query is too Complex exception in access? - Stack Overflow
That 2 tables has more than 100 columns, so probably the error is related to that.
Thank for your time.
Anyway this not solve the empty log problem :-)
Can you please try repair SYS id option in Update 10.09.01.11. Can you please provide me this Catalog, I will try same at my end.
Here you can find my catalog. I put only that 2 tables inside.
Unfortunately I cannot try with other versions now.

Anyway... if you look at: Access specifications (microsoft.com)
