We have edited modeler.cfg to use differing nominal diameters:
OPM_MATCH_PROPERTY_NOMINAL_DIAMETER = 50;63|65;75|80;90|100;110|125;140|150;160|175;180|200;225|250;280|300;315|350;355|550;560|600;630|593;600|700;710|
This works fine between flanges and valves and instruments, but when we introduce spacers it's a different story.
If a place a Lap Flange first, then try to place the Spacer (630;600) I get the error:
Crazy thing is, if I place the Spacer first, then the Flange I don't get the error??
Next, if I place the Spacer then a Flowmeter I can't get the gaskets to come through. The usual:
If I run a Connectivity test, I get:
These Flowmeters use the Spacers so I need a way around this as the usual config method only seems to work without the Spacers.
Is there something else I'm missing?
Thanks,
Hello BearI have tested the same at my end and it is working properly for the case of Ring Spacer & Lap Joint Flange. In my test case, I have performed the same placement asLap Joint Flange as first component of 150mm size then placed Ring Space of 100mm size. Based on customization I didn't get error and it allowed the placement without any issue.I have referred below wiki article for the reference.
I belive this is part that is missing at your end.Result as shown below.HTHRegards | Deepak Singh

Thanks for this Deepak, I'll jump in and check this out.
Much appreciated.
Deepak, this has solved half of my issue. The connection to the flange is working fine, but I'm still getting an issue connecting to flowmeters and valves.
Hi Bear,
Are you using custom specification or default one? Based on warning message it shows that specific record is not available to sepc.
