Hi everybody,
I wondering how it is possbile to define a specific line jumper symbol. I just found Wikis about modifing the gap (default_spacing), or to switch from a gap to an arc.
Actual situation:
But I want to use the "Pipe_End_Jumper" from the "piping.cel", as predefined by Bentley.
And this is, what I want to get:
I guess that it is somewhere supressed to use the line jumper symbol in the schemas, but I couldn't find it.
Thanks in advance for helping.
Thank you for contacting Bentley technical support. I will check internally how we can add the cell symbol in Jumper class and update you on this.
Any update available?
I am discussing this issue with our senior person, they are also investigating this issue on their end.
Apology for the delay here!
In this we can do is a change from no symbol to an Arc. On the Pipeline class name (IE MAJOR_PIPELINE), change the Jumper Mapping custom attribute to ARC_JUMPER.The two allowed jumpers are defined in the PID schema. They are PID_JUMPER (No symbol, just a break) and ARC_JUMPER (An arc across the line).
If you want a "squiggly" line, then it is not possible at the moment. Can please log the service request so I will log PBI for this.
Hi Aishwarya,
thank you for the answer.
But this solves not the problem. In older versions (v8i+XM) it was possible and the schema entries are still there. Also a cell is implemented as "Pipe_End_Jumper" in CE Package.
For my understanding its a bug / missing feature...
