Is there a way to set the Level Naming by Pipeline Name and Pipeline Symbology by Service in OPM? Can someone help me with the expression combination.
I would like to have levels according to Pipeline Name (I've done this) but with Pipeline Symbology (Colours) according to Service (couldn't get it to work together)
I have set the Level Naming by Pipeline Name but whenever I follow the Wiki on Pipeline Symbology by Service, my Level Naming by Pipeline Name gets broken.
Is this combination possible? Thanks in advance.
Hi SammyThanks for posting query to Bentley Plant forum. Please refer below wiki article that should help to move forward.
I've tried this but couldn't get the colours to work. It is taking the colour of the newly created level (pipeline name) which is 0 (white)
Maybe in the Element template it is set to color by level?
In the wiki article mentioned above you can see that Color 11 was set for template of service 1, while line style and weight are set bylevel.

OpenPlant Modeler - Version: 10.09.00.74
[MicroStation - Version: 10.14.02.01]
hi Florian, thanks for the idea but also didn't work. Has anyone have a solution or got this symbology by level and template working?
Hi Sammy,
I have it working. Please check that the names of the Service templates are exactly the same of the pipeline service names.
Have you checked the element templates in the model? the update from the dgnlib is not automatic.
Consider to use a new model after any modification of the dgnlib.

Hi Edgar,
Thanks for trying to help me out. On the new model that I've created, I have checked the new service that was generated from the template, and yes they are the same as the service on the pipeline. kindly see attached snapshots below.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong but can't make it to work.
GENERATED SERVICE FROM TEMPLATE
SERVICE FROM PIPELINE
PIPELINE MODELED
GENARATED PIPELINE LEVEL
We would request you to please raise a service request for this. We will deep dive to the concern and figure out possible solution for it.
Thanks
