I am trying to incorporate historical Autoplant files into autocad drawings only to be greeted with half a dozen messages about missing object enablers.
the following are missing:
AT_Reboids.
AT_Cust. arx app for AT_cylinder entity, AT_Cust. arx app for AT_box entity, AT_Cust. arx app for AT_cone entity, AT_Cust. arx app for AT_torus entity, AT_Cust. arx app for AT_dome entity,
This is the same issue I encountered some 15+years ago and it was like pulling teeth trying to get the relevant object enablers to allow autoplant objects to show correctly in Autocad.
Can someone in Bentley please explain why the same issue is still a problem now and supply me with the relevant enabler or link to it as a matter of urgency.
Hello Ric,
Thanks for posting your question, could you please provide one of the example drawing to test on our side.
I would like to suggest you that, raise service ticket, include one example model, so that we can do follow up via SR.
how to report or log a service request in relation to service request manager

Abhijit Bute
Good Morning Abhijit,
I see you are requesting the model to trial at your end this is exactly what bentley did 15+ years ago basically to advise me that it worked at your end and that it was my system at fault.
Finally after months of bouncing email communications Bentley finally supplied the relevant files and routines to allow the files to show correctly in Autocad.
Rather than days or weeks of cross communicating why not just supply relevant files to allow Autocad to display properly.
I have seen on the forum a number of requests for these files only to be directed to a help page by bentley that just does not exist.
I would gratefully request that these files are supplied as a matter of urgency to people who request them rather than this too-ing and frow-ing exercise that Bentley seem to revel in.
Regards
Ric
You can go through the new WIKI article for AutoPLANT Object Enablers for AutoCAD from here:
Also, you will find the active download links for the Object Enablers in this article to test at your end.
Thanks for your reply, I am not sure which files or routines provided you for AutoPLANT object enabler for AutoCAD.
You will find multiple object enabler here on below wiki link. you can use it as per your AutoCAD version.
Hope this helps.
