We need to enable 1 and 3 variable to Ture or 1.

So lets assume that custom equipment is created using two parametric solid (containing hole feature, length feature its cell name) etc. In default application, if we create the custom equipment, all the parametric feature will be lost and solid geometry will convert into Smart Solid.

But when the variable is turned ON, this will allow the flexibility to have the geometry as parametric and you can edit the applied features like hole edit, length edit and so on.

I am not sure if this is fixed in case if someone is using PlantSight. There are some issues with this implementation when using with PlantSight, however without PlantSight no concerns.

Thanks

RE: Configuration Variables OPM_CUSTOM_EQUIP

Hi Valery,

Thanks for contacting Bentley Plant Forum!

Can you please let me from where you referring below variable?

OPM_CUSTOM_EQUIP_CONVERT_TO_NONPARAMETRIC
OPM_CUSTOM_EQUIP_PROCESS_PARAMETRIC_SOLIDS

Also please update the version for OpenPlant Modeler you are using

HTH,
