Hi All,It looks like in OpenPlant CE update 11 version, the logic has been changed for PlantSight sync workflows.
I am facing extreme slowness issue when dealing with Fix Business Key from Model Validation Dialog in case of OpenPlant PID.
The drawing file contains only two duplicate tags. When performed sync process, application has prompted for duplicate tags.
Selected the Fix Business Key. It took very huge time to fix. We can see the message of Release Tags. For me it took around 1 hr
The overall process in this sync operation to PlantSight is taking very huge time.a. When fresh sync is executed, took around 10 mins.b. Prompted the duplicate warning and executed the Fix Business Key. (Even if we do the fix by clicking on three dots, when we close the dialog). It will start releasing the acquired locks from tags. In this process it took more than 40mins.c. Re-initiate the sync process and it took further 5mins.
So application take less time in acquiring locks to components from the drawing but when it starts to release the acquired locks it is taking very huge time.
Is there any change in workflow in Update 11? How to speed-up this process, even the pid drawing doesn't contain very huge records its normal.
Hello Deepak, a bug has already been filed for this issue. It seems that when the Fix Business Key is executed, all instances in the document will be refreshed and not just the tag that was changed.

We are also facing this issue. I have to go into Plantsight->Administration->Data Manager->Clear Tag Register and release the tags manually for the user who is having this problem. Not a good solution but cuts the time drastically.

In our case, we are pushing the existing drawings to PlantSight. There are drawings that have duplicates to it and when the PlantSight briefcase has huge data even a single fix of duplicate item is putting locks to the entire records.
At this stage it is taking huge time and slowness.
