Hi,
We are having issues extracting a model where we have a galv cs pipe and black cs pipe in the same specs connected via slip-on flange. When extracted, it's either those pipe will be in the MTO as 1 item as galv pipe or black pipe. When you extract them separately, the description is correct but we need it in 1 single isometric drawings. Anyone has a solution to this?
2 different pipes:
Output iso where 2 pipes are tagged as item 1.
Hi James,
The association of PartID is according to the itemcode which is set in the schema files. Can you check (+) How to Split the Components on Different Description and to Avail Different PartID in BOM - OpenPlant | AutoPLANT Wiki - OpenPlant | AutoPLANT - Bentley Communities if this fits your requirement?
Regards,
Fer

Hi, Will try this and report back. Thanks!
Update1:
The link you gave me is exactly the issue we're having and I have followed what is required to solve the issue. However, the extracted isometric drawing is still giving me the unfixed results. Is there a way for me to verify which schema file I'm supposed to be updating? As we have several project folders with this schema which I have updated as well.
Update2:
I have updated every project's schema with the solution but when I extract the iso, I'm still having that issue. I'm using OPIM connect edition and edited the schema thru v8i class editor. and updated thru Class Editor Connect Edition.
Can you elaborate about unfixed results? Does that mean that it still assigns the same PARTID on both pipe with different description? You can open OP3D schema and supplement it with the Isometrics Isoextractor schema.
I followed the instruction but the output partid in the BOM is still the same. See iso and BOM reports below.

BOM report:
The length for the pipe appears to be shorter compared to what you initially sent (from 3728 to 2249). Can you check the PARTID assigned to the other pipe (cs pipe) by going to the Component Tag Data?
Can you send your l00 file so I can investigate this further?
