Is there any way to use spec validation to update gaskets and bolts? If no, is there any plans to make that possible. Often spec validation is used to find unknown updates within a model, so solutions found on the communities does not address the issue of updated gaskets and bolts when changes exist.

To answer your first question, it is no, we can't use spec validation to gaskets and bolts. However, we recommend to use change spec/change size to update the gaskets and bolts information.
I dont think gaskets and bolts appear in the change spec/size tool?
