I am setting up a build and I am checking what is both the use and the workflows for using the "Package or Battery Limit Line" which is part of the Pipe Services tools
Using the tool allows me to place a line then it request for me to give it a relationship to an existing pipeline in the model. I am unsure why it is done like this if its being used for a vendor package isn't needed to more act like a piece of equipment with nozzle connection into the vendor package or if used for the battery limit of a project would it not be closer to Spec Break. I am trying to understand how it should be used in it current state and the Help documentation does not mention it in specific.
Hello Callum, If you are using Update 11, then I think this is currently a bug specific to this version, when you place a Limit Line it should not ask for a relationship with a pipeline. A limit line is intended to establish a boundary to indicate which components are someone else's responsibility, it doesn't make sense to prompt for a pipeline as it's not a piping element.I suggest you log a case against this issue, Creating a new Service Request (Technical Support)
