I'm looking for some answers on how to plot (hidden) underground pipe with varying grades. I need the underground pipe to show up as hidden (dashed line). I don't have a problem doing this with a consistent grade, but with a varying grade I have no easy way to do this.
Any answers?
I'd like to know how other people handle this.
HEY, I NEED SOME HELP!....IS THERE ANYONE, SOMEONE THAT CAN RESPOND TO THE ABOVE TOPIC??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
I would use AutoCAD solids to represent the ground. You could insert several if the grade varies. If the underground piping is inside the AutoCAD solids, you can use HLSettings to display the components as dashed. I do know though that there are some limitations in AutoCAD as to how edges display for components that are partially within the solid.
