Anybody know where the radius of a pipe bend gets defined in PSDS? I have the bend radius as a function of the pipe diameter, but need a static bend dia (ie: 24" R bend for various pipe sizes, as opposed to 12D etc...).

I sort of chased back some of the component definition for bends; well at least enough to realize that they come delivered with a "user defined" option for the bend radius.
I do have another question though. Is there a way to configure pipe bends such that they include a section of straight pipe on each end?

Hi Mike,
Out of the box the pipe bends rule files do not give you this as an option. This would have to be done as a customization to the rule and also in the ams.lib and ps_iso.lib to make sure isometrics would be correctly created.
