Is it planned to enable OpenPlant Isometrics Manager to read PCF files and then generate ISO drawings?
PCF is a kind of open standard in data exchange and PCF files are generated by multiple systems. Having this capability we could use OP Isometric Manager better... Also for AutoPIPE...
Hello Maciej,
As far as I know, there are no immediate plans to include a possibility to have PCF as an input format for OpenPlant Isometrics Manager. We can only generate PCF as an additional output file for the generated Isometrics sheet.

Justinas
Hi Maciej,
Can you tell me which other system you are using that creates a PCF that you would like to generate an isometric from? As you have mentioned that PCF is widely used it is also prone to various content output depending on the source system making them somewhat inconsistent.
As this is not a common request it has not been prioritized on our development roadmap as Justinas has indicated.

Hi Ian,
Thank you for asking. Here in Poland it is quite common that EPC, design offices, even workshops and small engineering teams have to follow requirements of orderers. So, piping systems or their parts are being design in.... here is the list that contains e.g. AutoPLANT, SmartPlant, PDMS, Inventor (!), Solidworks, OpenPlant and others, sometimes quite exotic. To simplify the workshop/erection and other ISO documents creation of the same look, feel and content - we would like to use OpenPlant Isometric Manager, no matter what system is used for modelling plant.
Best regards,
