PSDS XM v08.09.04.52 Nov 2009
Otion Switch 71 (PLOTFILE / BACKING SHEET FORMAT)
If I run IsoGen with output format set to .DXF (ASCI) I get a good output.
If I change the output format to Smart DWG, I get an output, but if I try to open the file, AutoCAD says: Drawing file is not valid.
Alias.mes says:
***** POD Error(s) ***** Unable to load XML document : R:\15-PSDS\PISOGEN\FINAL\DRAWINGS\Test-5.XML Error Code : 800c0007, Description : No data is available for the requested resource.
Line/Position : 0/0
Any suggestions?
Since you are using XM trying saving your Border (backing sheet) to back R2004.

Hello Mike,
I believe this can be a limitation with the PSDS version you are using as I have seen this problem in AutoPLANT SS3 version of AutoPLANT as well. Please use the setps below as avoidance :
Set option switch 71 to DXF. Then save the drawing frame dwg as an R12 DXF file and make sure the DXF file is specified in Project Administrator`s isogen input page.
Hope this helps!

Dinesh
Dinesh: I think you misread my post. I was able to get a DXF output, but I wanted a DWG ouput. The DWG output is what was giving me the POD Error.
Packin31: Your suggestion worked (sort of). I saved my .DXF seed file to a R2004 DWG, but got the same POD error. I then saved it to a R2000 DWG, and was able to get a good DWG ouput from AutoIsoGen.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Mike,
I knew it had to be saved back but forgot what version. Glad to hear you got them to run.
