Hi Miso,

Currently Descartes SS5 is on a newer version of the PowerPlatform (CAD Engine) then OpenPlant Modeler is on and they currently do not work together. We are working on updating OpenPlant Modeler to be on the same version that Descartes uses and will issue an update release later this year so that the 2 products will work together.

Hi Miso,

Only Bentley Descartes SELECTSeries 4 can be installed on OpenPlant Modeler SELECTSeries 5, which should provide all the tools demonstrated in the video.

Note that Bentley Descartes SELECTSeries 5 contains new tools for pipe extraction and connecting from a point cloud, but that would require a new OpenPlant Modeler.

You can also installed Bentley Descartes SELECTSeries 5 on its prerequisite MicroStation until a new OpenPlant Modeler is available.
