Hello Swapnil,
Bentley Navigator is used by infrastructure teams to review and analyze project information. Bentley Navigator is renamed to bentley passport now. Also, this product is available only through select subscription. Hope this helps.
Regards
Dinesh
Just a small addition on above bentley navigator is now available as bentley passport. It can only be available via select subscription.
Bentley Navigator is for many customers the replacement for Navisworks. With models (best with i-Models) created from any disciplines applications the review tasks are handled. I guess Autoplant can publish i-Models. i-Models are intelligent models that include the properties of the discipline specific application in a format that allows to bring all disciplines models of a project together.
For coordination tasks (e.g. creating master models that collect discipline models together) i-Model Composer is available. So Navigator you can review all disciplines together - review the properties of piping, structural, electrical, ... and any other craft.
Both tools can be used with the same "passport" - thats a personal type of license that allows one user to use a couple of Bentley Products (another one - for the same person - would be ProjectWise Explorer)
Dear Bentley,
Currently we are using Naviswork to view our models.
Then is it needed to have this navigator/passport ?
By ignoring these features while purchasing, will it affect us?
Thanks & Regards ,

A passport is required for different Bentley products as described. If you don't want to use one of them you don't need them.
On the other hand passport pricing is fortunate - thats why some large customers have replaced NV throught Navigator for their review tasks. So you might want to take a look...
And if you are only viewing your models - Bentley View is free.
