Sorry for the delay on this. I just saw this was unanswered. Unfortunately you can't create/edit the seed file in DWG. It must stay in DGN because OpenPlant Isometrics manager needs it to be DGN for features like textnodes and other specific Microstation options to work properly during processing the ISO. We do provide the ability to toggle the output format to DWG when creating the ISO's. The seed file is where you will change you weight, layer, color and text size for dimensions and text under the dimension and text style sections. After Changing the settings in dimension styles or text styles, be sure to choose File > Save settings. That should hold those settings. As far as boxes around text.. if you are referring to Coordinates, notes and fastener information. The boxes must remain for now. The boxes are used for helping place the text in a location with white space and something the leader line will extend and attach to. Without the box, the modify label tool does not work and text is placed on top of other text sometimes.

Answering Buffalo's post.. One thing you may not have noticed is that when the iso gets created whether it is dgn or dwg, it is a 3d iso file. So when opening it in AutoCAD, you might have to change the view to SW ISO for it to view properly. I have attached a link to a document with many common configurations.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have other questions.

Thanks

I am able to pull iso but some things that were in IsoGen are missing like a call out for nozzles and all the other text has boxes around them, I can't seem to make the Microstation seed file change the color of dim or even the style.

Anyone else having this problem. Can you let me know how to edit without having to learn all about Microstation? Thank You
