Dear Bentley Team,
Can we Install and use Bentley Autoplant ss4 v8i and Aveva PDMS on our same workstation ?
Whether any files will clash/corrupt by installing both software on same workstation ?
What precaution need to take for this?
Note - We are using:
Hardware : Workstation Dell Precision T3600 {http://i.dell.com/sites/doccontent/shared-content/data-sheets/en/Documents/Dell-Precision-T3600-Spec-Sheet.pdf}
Software : Bentley Autoplant V8i - SS4 version : 8.11.9.140, Bentley Staadpro V8i - SS4 version : 20.07.09.31 , Autocad 2012-64Bit , Naviswork 2013 , Inventor Ultimate 2014-64 Bit , MS-Office 2010 - 64 Bit.

I believe this kind of setup was never tested o reviewed by Bentley officially, but I do not see any issue why it should not work to have Aveva PDMS and AutoCAD/AutoPLANT on the same machine. Risks should be about the same as to have any other non-Plant design software installed on the machine with AutoPLANT.
If you would install it that way and see any issues with AutoPLANT not working like it should any more, please let us know so that we could investigate it then.
