I am using AutoPLANT Piping SS4.
Please add the attached model (through relationship manager) to any Mixed Metric project. I am trying to export a PXF (choosing any component or the whole model) and getting an error (please see the attached screenshot).
What can be he reason for this error?

I downloaded it and opened in sample Mixed Metric configuration, and it exported without any error. Try to open it in the sample project or config and see if it has the same error. If so, I would guess it is either an installation problem or maybe your Windows regional and language settings could have something to do with it. Try setting them to English (US) maybe??
Please try to export it 3,4 times. The first time it works but second and third it is not for some reason.
I tried what you suggested but still getting the same error in numerous stations.
I tried 4 times consecutively without error.. I'll have to defer to the Support guys on this one, sorry Alex.

I have also tried to export the PXF from the model attached a few times, and it does not give any error for me in AutoPLANT SS4 version.
Could you please describe the issue a bit more for better understanding: is this issue occurring every-time on your machine? Have you tried it on some other machine on your site? Have you tried it in sample mmetric project? At which exact point during the export operation does it fail:
Is progress window loading?
Maybe it fails on some specific component every time?
Is it same if you export just a small part of the model and if you export full model?
Please also attach an exchange.log file from C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Plant V8i\xchg to see if there is any errors in there.
