To show TAG for multiple components in isometrics Bill Of Material.

Background

In AutoPlant modeler Tags are defined on different properties for different components. Some components exhibit the property MODEL and some has been defined on TAG_CODE. Requirement is to get All Tags under one column in isometrics Bill of Material. In order to facilitate the same user can customize the report definition file. For Valve the tags has been defined under MODEL property and for supports user need to create a TAG_CODE property to define it. Below steps illustrates how to customize the reports to make it appear in BOM.

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Launch OpenPlant Isometrics Manager. Select Project unit.

  2. From configuration dialog, under ‘Advance’ option, click on Report definition.

  3. There are several methods to modify the report definition file. Most commonly described as below:

    1. If BOM includes Shop Material and Field Material.
    2. If BOM Include only Shop Material.

  4. For both shop/Field Material, user need to define the column in each with MODEL and TAG_CODE separately.

  5. For one common BOM, Say Shop Material only, below customization required.

  6. EXCLUDE = IE_TYPE=CT_SUPPORT – Support type will get excluded from main BOM, to enable it to get it added as a separate BOM.

  7. Create new report REPORT=SUP as shown above.

  8. Add COLUMN = 10: R : TAG_CODE  for support tags.

  9. In combi report as shown above, add SUP report to get it included under one tab.
Note – User may define new report to new node and add it by placing text node.

  10. Click on save. Generate isometrics and verify results.
Note- If more than one component lies under TAG-CODE property then user need to include the IE_TYPE under the same report.
