How to Enable Valve Annotation Visibility for all Valves in the Drawing

Introduction

By default the only annotation that will appear for Valve is the Size that it inherits from the Process Line it is associated with.

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Open the OpenPlant_PID.01.07 and supplement it with OpenPlant_PID_Supplemental_Imperial.01.07 from your project Dataset\Schemas folder in the Bentley Class Editor application.
  2. Find the Fluid Regulator Class and click on the properties tab.

  3. Find the Name property, select it and scroll till Annotation Custom Attributes.

  4. Change Visibility from False to true and save the changes.


  5. Reopen your Model, place new Valve and verify the changes.
