OPPID: Changes to Pipeline selection functionality in OPPID in the 500 series

The user can no longer successfully Right Click on a pipeline and issue the commands COPY or MOVE iwithin a drawing,

In the 500 series, if the user right clicks and issues COPY a pipeline (yellow) upon placement it turns blue, indicating a change from MAJOR to MINOR.

When you are copying, you do not have a PIPELINE selected – only a pipe run. Remember that there are no graphics to a pipeline.

If you are selecting JUST a straight major pipeline (yellow) you would right click on it and SELECT MAJOR PIPELINE. (second option down in the fly out)

Then right click and select COPY.

Paste it and it should be entered into the drawing as a major pipeline.

If you have multiple runs or inline components….

    Window around all (turns pink)

Right click on selection set and in the fly out, choose SELECT PARENT(S) ADVANCED (Again, second option down in the fly out)

    Right click to COPY

Paste it and it should paste into the drawing as a major pipeline,
