Normally, in OPM when we place mating flange with different FACING, an error is displayed in the message center saying "Components not Compatible. Component properties do not match: FACING". But in some cases you have to place the mating flange with different facing and this article will explain what changes are required.
For example we will review, weld-neck flange which has RAISED_FACE and FLAT_FACE facings.

I just tested myself and found that this schema change is not required. This wiki was created w.r.t old version and may be this is not required anymore. I have modified the steps now.
Thanks for bringing into our notice.
What does the ".PAIR" do at the end of Match Property? In our testing we saw that just enabling the OPM_MATCH_PROPERTY_MAP_FACING and adding the necessary facing values allowed us to connect the mis-matched components. It would be a lot easier if we only had to make that change in the PCF and not touch any of the schema. However, if removing ".PAIR" does something necessary we would like to know. Thanks
