How to Set Required Line Weight in DWG Format Isometrics Model

    Applies To
    Product(s): OpenPlant Isometrics Manager
    Version(s): 08.11.09.XXX(SS5)
    Environment: Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit)
    Area: Processing
    Subarea: DWG Output
Original Author: Berrie Geboers, Bentley Product Advantage Group

    Problem Description

When Isometrics models are generated in DWG format, there might be situation when some components or other graphical objects line thickness looks to big. For such case there is special option in which we can Map DGN Line weights with DWG.

    Steps to Resolve

    1. Launch Isometrics Configuration Dialog.
    2. Run an ISO in DWG output by setting this inside "Isometric Output Format" field. See image below.

    3. Choose after completion, show Isometric.
    4. In the preview choose File>Save AS.

    5. In the next dialog, choose Options.
    6. In the following dialog, select Line Weights

    7. Observe that the weight for line 1 as DWG weight is in 2.11
    8. By clicking on the value 2.11, you can select a new value: 0.15

    9. After setting the value click on the save button.
    10. In the next dialog click Save to overwrite the OPIM.DWS file.
    11. Confirm the replacing.
    12. Close all dialog and run a new ISO in DWG output.
