    How to Compress Welds for Slip On Flange

    To Compress Welds on Slip On Flange in OpenPlant Isometrics Manager.

    Background

    Using AutoPLANT Modeler and OpenPlant Isometrics Manager, Slip on flanges provides two welds on isometrics. See image below.

    In some cases, it has been required to get single weld isometrics. Below steps will aid user to compress double weld to single.

    Steps to Accomplish

    1. From working project navigate to style folder. See below default path for reference
      C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Plant V8i\Bentley Plant V8i Projects\SAMPLE_METRIC\Config\OpenPlant \Isometrics \styles\IFC\config\style.cfg

    2. Open Style.cfg file.
    3. Check for variable Compresswelds and change value from 0 to 1. See image below.



    4. Save & close file.
    5. Generate Isometrics and verify result. See image below.
