Overview

This brief video will outline how to create a new SQL Server database which will serve as the repository for all data that is created thru the Bentley applications that can sync and write to this database.  Once the database is created the user will then be walked thru how to create a new Bentley Project in Bentley Project Administrator.  This project is used as the central terminal for all data to be written between OpenPlant PID's and other intelligent applications (Bentley DataManager, Bentley DataSheets).  Then we will through creating a new OpenPlant Project via OpenPlant Project Administrator.  This is the project that will contain all configuration files, project level ecschema files, cell libraries and dgnlib files to name a few. Finally, we will create a new OpenPlant PID drawing and create new components that will sync to the database for data modification in Data Manager.
