In many instances when working with the OpenPlant PID application a user will have the need to set certain drawing or workstation specific settings. This could include how the drafting experience is in the application to the specific UNITS or SCALE of the drawing. In this instance we will discuss how to set and save drawing scales. Users notice this when they modify the Drawing Scale and then close and reopen only to find that it has been set back to the previous value.
To set the scale of the drawing to to Settings > Drawing Scale. This will open the Drawing Scale dialog where these values can be modified.
To make sure these design changes has been saved open the Preferences Dialog by going to Workspace > Preferences. Select the Operation option and turn on the following Operational Preferences:
"Save Settings on Exit"
"Automatically Save Design Changes"
Select OK and exit the drawing. When you reopen the drawing the Scale values entered earlier will have been saved.
