Background

By default in OpenPlant Modeler, there is no tool for Wafer Check Valve. There are some steps involved for placement of WAFER_CHECK_VALVE which are explained below.

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Launch class editor and load OpenPlant_3D schema.
  2. Supplement it with OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_Modeling schema.

Note - On Adding & Supplementing schema procedure refer this>>>>> Link.

  3. Go to CHECK_VALVE class and copy the value defined in table field of OpenPlant_Physical_Catalogue_Class_Map as shown below:

Note: This step is required because WAFER_CHECK_VALVE has it's own mapping custom attribute and there only VALVE table is mapped but you may add this component in any of the above given tables.

  4. Paste this value in the same field on WAFER_CHECK_VALVE class.

  5. Save the changes.

Verify the Result

  1. Launch OpenPlant Modeler and open a model.

  2. Create a pipeline with 350mm Diameter and mEX-OPM spec.

  3. Place a pipe in the model.

  4. Since there is no tool for this component you need to go to Utilities>Key In and key-in the command
    mechaddin place WAFER_CHECK_VALVE dsc=piping

  5. Place the valve on the pipe.
