    Clash Detection for Olets in OpenPlant Modeler

    Overview

    In OpenPlant Modeler, to fix Pipe with olets which falls under clash detection rule.

    Problem Description

    In OpenPlant Modeler, any pipeline containing a pipe and olets falls under clash detection. To overcome the problem user need to add a set of rule to it. See below steps for solution. 

              

    Steps to Resolve

    1. Launch OpenPlant Modeler, Select Project.

    2. Go to Tools > “Clash Detection”. Click on it. 



    3. Create a new Job, and assign a name. 



    4. Go to “Rules” tab and click on “New” to select new rules to apply. 



    5. From “Rules Template” dialog, select “Rule Set” as “Suppress Clashes (generic)” and Select “Suppress clashes between two types of elements” and click on “Create”.



    6. Under Rule Description, Click the underlined values to edit both Type like mentioned in below image. 



    7. Set “Pipe” and “Olet” on each Type by clicking on it. 






    8. See below image after class selection.



    9. Drag the file to right box and check on “Self Check” option and process it. 



    10. Notice Clash detection resolved for relative pipeline mentioned for olets and pipe. 



      Note - If the clash is still shown, please close the Clash Detection dialog and re-process the clash and verify results.
