Weld summary is required in isometric to calculate the weld quantity in project. Following steps will help to get detailed weld report in isometric

Steps to Accomplish

• Style 2 weld type of Weld Summary

1. Go to project location and create one blank text document.
   
   Ex: %ProjectRoot%\Plant V8i\Bentley Plant V8i Projects\SAMPLE_METRIC\Config\isogen\final
   
   
2. Add following entries in text file.
   
   
   
   
3. Save the file and rename this file to "Final.WDF"
   
   
4. Open Project Administrator. Select project.
   
   
5. Define the path for welding definition file.
   
   
   
   
6. Click on Edit to edit Option file do changes as per below image.
   
   
   
   
7. Generate isometric to review result.
   
   

Style 3 weld type of Weld Summary

This type of weld summary box may only be used in conjunction with a User defined backing sheet. The heading and enclosure line is part of of the backing sheet and the data items are edited in using X-Y coordinate data that is specified in wdf.

Option 53 setting should be (No weld summary box)
