In many instances users in of the I&W package use the auto generated drawing feature.  This creates drawings depending on their type from a series of blocks that are stored in the project's standards folder.  Location used:

    ..\Standards\Instrumentation\Symbols\Imperial\TermDWG

The drawings sometimes inserts the text in the wrong location.  How does one modify the data to insert correctly?

    1. Decide which file is being used to generate the data.  In this example we are modifying the Panel and modifying the TSTRIP1.DWG file as shown below:

Browse to the physical symbol file itself located in

    2. These blocks are located in the following folder location for Terminals:

    C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Plant V8i\Bentley Plant V8i Projects\SAMPLE_IMPERIAL\Standards\Instrumentation\Symbols\Imperial\TermDWG

    2. Modify the TSTRIP1.DWG file.
    3. Select the token and move to the desired position as outlined below:

Move the _TSTRIP token so it will appear more to the left.

    4. Save and Exit.
    5. Regenerate the drawing in I&W
