To Query Correct set of Bolts on LUG END Type Joint in OpenPlant Modeler.
In OpenPlant Modeler, for a set of Poly size components containing an LJ flange set with a LUG_END type mating component. User wanted to a Place a an LJFlange DN 280 size with a LUG END type joint of size DN250 and mating LJ Flange of size DN280. During the placement, Bolt set was not correctly placed and are required to place a correct set of bolts
Since LUG_END type creates a separate Joint with its associated components, it should place to set of bolts on assembly. During the investigation it has been found that LUG_END end prep type has been defined incorrectly in PCF file. See image below.
Below are the steps after making some minor changes in pcf file and defining Joint type in schema allow user to place bolts correctly.
