    To Scale the Column Grid Text Annotation to Readable view

    Overview

    In OpenPlant Modeler, to scale the Column Grid Text Annotation to Readable view.

    Problem Description

    While Creating Grids for Structural placement, the Text appear to be smaller in size and only be seen when user zoom in to it. Below steps will solve this problem by modifying setting under Model Properties dialog.

    Steps to Resolve

    1. Launch OpenPlant Modeler, Select Project unit. Say Metric here.

    2. Reference Structure DGN file.

    3. Reference Grid DGN file.

    4. Check Grid Annotation Text which is in small scale. See Image below.

    5. From File Menu, Click on “Models”.

    6. From Models Dialog, right click on file & click on “Properties”. See image below. 



    7. Set Scale to 1:5 & Check on option “Propagate Annotation Scale“. See below image. 



    8. Click OK.

    9. It will scale the grid text to readable now. See image below. 



    10. Also User can check various setting available in “Grid Systems” Dialog. User can toggle it to ON/OFF and get the desired output after updating the Grid DGN file. See image below.
