With new SS6 refresh release, several users Enhancements/Defects has been been included in it. Below are the list to have a preview of it. This will further get discussed exclusively on each topic for easy understanding to allow user to get most of the benefit out of it. 
  • Coordinate Labels: Options have been added to configure how Coordinate Labels are placed and whether to use Elevation labels instead.

  • Partial Configuration:  Feature added to configure Partial Hatch options for Rolling Isometrics in an isometric.
  • Pre and Post Processing Data Manipulation: Added configuration options which give the user the ability to manipulate data for the isometrics either in the pre-processing or post-processing stages of isometric generation.

  • New iso symbols added in cel library: WYEFT, 90FL_FT, WLTFT, VLVGEN1FL, NPLBW_PE, CREBW_FT, GENSTRCE, TEE, TEEFL_FL_FT, BLWBW
  • Handling of both the combined orifice assembly from BASE module versus the exploded orifice set from INSTRUMENT module.
  • Correct representation of 3 way changeover relief valve.
  • Skip second coordinate label for Pipe Cap.
  • Allow Sheet Break located in weld gap.
  • Allow '=' and '+' signs in line number/drawing name.
  • Allow to exclude specific Weld types from being dimensioned
  • Create isos directly from an OpenPlant Modeler session without the need to create an i-model first or to work through OpenPlant Model Server.
  • Handling of "dummy leg" supports, to represent it as pipe material in the iso and Bill of Material.
  • Multiple output formats available at the same time. As a user you can specify to have not only a DGN output file, but also DWG, DXF and PDF.
  • Settings in Style.cfg:
    - Example: specify IE_OUTPUT_FORMAT = DGN, DWG, PDF

  • Settigns in isoProj.cfg:
    - specify output folder for additional formats: IE_OUT : $(IE_DGN)exports/
    - specify PDF plot configuration file: IE_PLOTCFG = $(IE_CONF)plot.cfg
  • Excentric Reducers can be configured to have a label Flat side UP or Flat side down

  • New hidden line functionality for better legibility of crossing pipelines in the iso
  • Improved layout:
    • White space management now also optimizes the position of line based labels such as pipe size labels and spool labels
    • Orientation/ rotation of branch components in the same plane as the main pipe.
    • Orientation/ rotation of support nod symbol in line with the pipe.
    • Orientation/ rotation of valve top works on skewed line.
    • Orientation/ rotation of dummy leg BOP.
    • Prevention of overlapping dimensions, components, labels, insulation.
    • Taps on fittings placed on the component outline rather than on its centre line.
