Project database upgrade options in Project Administrator

    Hello -

Ever wonder what the project upgrade options are in Project Administrator ?

The ‘Upgrade from BASE’ option is available only when you upgrade a pre-V8i project to a V8i project. Like if you upgrade an XM project to V8i.

For an old V8i (like SS4 ) to latest V8i (like SS7), you need to use the Upgrade From Integrity Check results.

"Upgrade to Project Schema" actually means "Upgrade Schema to SQL" which is offered when the source projects schema is in MDB format

For more details, please refer to:

    • Upgrading Project > Pre-V8i (SELECTseries 7) Refresh (v8.11.12) Project Upgrades article from the readme.
