Background

When running Spec Validation Tool, some spec driven objects do not update properly. This may happen when any revision done. Below are a list of steps to alter the description of any spec driven component. 

Steps to Accomplish

1.  Launch Open Plant Specification Generator change the long description to the desired setting.
   
   
   
   
2. In this case we are changing or adding to the Long Description of a Bolt.
   
   
   
   
3. Saved the spec and closed.
4. Reopened OPM > Deleted one of the Bolt and Gasket sets > ran Check Connectivity and replaced the missing bolt and gasket.
5. It now pulls info directly from the spec.
