Overview

To fix “Structural Synchronizer Engine Not Found” message in OpenPlant Modeler.  

Problem Description

With latest version from 08.11.11.87, there is a new tab called “Structural”. While selecting “Open repository” option, it sometimes gives below message as “Structural Synchronizer Engine Not Found” along with below details. See image below.

          

See Message below:

The ISM_ENGINE_PATH configuration variable “ is set to a non-Existent application. Please update the configuration variable in config\appl\StructuralModelingComponents.cfg. The ISM Import and Export features require this Setting. 

Reason

This is happening because of missing Structural Synchronizer Engine not installed on system. To overcome the situation, user need to install Structural Synchronizer to use this feature from software Fulfillment Centre. See below steps to resolve it. 

Steps to Resolve

  1. User need to install Structural Synchronizer v8i version 08.11.11.50.
    Note -
     Please Raise Service request to get the installer mentioned above.
  2. User can install it based on Operating system (32 bit / 64 bit ) environment used.
  3. Launch OpenPlant Modeler and click on “Open Repository” to verify the result.
