    Problem Description

User get below error while synchronizing database to drawing. This error message appears only when equipment like Filter Press, Flare Tower, Chimney etc. are present in the drawing. Below is the full text of error message which appears in message center.

LOG_ERROR - Bentley.Plant.ModelingFramework.SQLPluginAdapter - Synchronization stopped because of error: 'ExecuteOperations has fatally terminated because of the following exception: ECInstance {SERVICE_IS_RELATED_TO_EQUIPMENT(VG.0000003279)} belongs to the ECSchema {ECSchema: PlantProjectSchema.01.04} which is not supported in this connection: TEST001.dgn'. Additional Details (If Available): 'ECInstance {SERVICE_IS_RELATED_TO_EQUIPMENT(VG.0000003279)} belongs to the ECSchema {ECSchema: PlantProjectSchema.01.04} which is not supported in this connection: TEST001.dgn'

    Reason

This error message is caused by duplicate class mappings in the mapping schema. Duplicate mapping is detected by a Key-in command 'pid plantproject detectduplicatemapping' as shown below:

This key-in command opens up the dialog showing classes having duplicate mappings.

Classes CONTINUOUS_SAND_FILTER and FILTER_PRESS are mapped to 'AT_EQUIP' tag type as shown below.

    CONTINUOUS_SAND_FILTER

    FILTER_PRESS

    Steps to Resolve

    1. In the 'Bentley Project Administrator', copy the existing AT_EQUIP tag type and create unique tag types for FILTER_PRESS and CONTINUOUS_SAND_FILTER.

      For FILTER_PRESS

      For CONTINUOUS_SAND_FILTER

For detailed steps to create tag types CLICK HERE
    2. Now load class editor and load database mapping.

    3. Select Continuous Sand Filter class in the active classes list on the right hand side.

    4. It will load OpenPlant_PID schema, again select CONTINUOUS_SAND_FILTER class to see the mapping.

    5. Edit the mapping and change the tag type as shown below.

    6. Switch to Insert tab and make the same change there as well.

    7. Similarly make the same changes for FILTER_PRESS class.

    8. Save the changes and verify the results.

    Still a Problem

If there is still some problem while trying to perform any operation against OpenPlant PID, then please create a Service Request and contact Bentley Product Advantage group along with the list of all relevant details to get in depth analysis and for possible solution or workarounds.
