To Import View Arrangement Definition file data from excel sheet in OpenPlant Orthographics Manager.

Background

In OpenPlant Orthographics Manager, User can import view arrangement definition file(s) data from excel sheet.

Steps to Accomplish

1. Launch OpenPlant Orthographics Manager and select a project
   
   
2. Go to Drawing Generation – Create View
   
   
3. Select “Import data to Excel sheet” button
   
   
   
   
4. Open dialog will pop up with default “Working” folder of selected project
   “C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OrthographicsManager V8i\WorkSpace\Projects\[Project Name]\Working”
   
   
   
   
5. Select an Excel sheet containing View Arrangement Definition data and select “Open”
   
   
   
   
6. It will Import Excel data and “Data Successfully Imported” dialog will pop up
   
   
   
   
7. Go to “VAD” folder of project directory (“C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OrthographicsManager V8i\WorkSpace\Projects\Project Name\VAD”) and see all imported View Arrangement Definition Files are placed in the folder
