To Delete Generated OpenPlant Orthographics Manager Output Drawing(s)

Background

OpenPlant Orthographics Manager produces output general arrangement drawing and user has the ability to delete these output drawing files from OpenPlant Orthographics Manager interface.

Steps to Accomplish

1. Launch OpenPlant Orthographics Manager and select a project
   
   
   
   
2. Go to Drawing Generation – Generate
   
   
   
   
3. Select single or multiple VAD (View Arrangement Data) Files by checking the boxes against their name
   
   
   
   
4. Check both boxes for Hidden line drawings and Dimension/Annotation drawing and leave other two boxes unchecked
   
   
   
   
5. Press “Generate Drawings” after selecting View Arrangement Data file and output file options
   
   
   
   
6. Output file will be generated
   
   
   
   
7. Go to Project Directory to confirm output files are placed correct (In the Project's Output directory, there are two default folders, Hidden and DimAnno, which the output drawings are saved to) i.e.
   “C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OrthographicsManager V8i\WorkSpace\Projects\[Projet Name]\output”
   
   
   
   
   
   
8. Output file(s) will be listed in Output (Hidden and Anno/Dimension) Files
   
   
   
   
9. Select the output file(s) which you want to delete and press “Delete Output” button
   (NOTE: Make sure that output file is not opened in OpenPlant Orthographics Manager)
   
   
   
   
10. Press “Yes” to “Delete Selected Files” confirmation message
    
    
    
    
11. Output drawings will be deleted and will not be shown in “Output (Hidden and Anno/Dimension) Files”
    
    
    
    
12. Go to Project Directory to confirm output files are deleted permanently  (In the Project's Output directory, confirm files deletion from both Hidden and DimAnno folders) i.e.
    “C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OrthographicsManager V8i\WorkSpace\Projects\[Project Name]\output”
