How to Display Eccentric Reducer Offset Label in OpenPlant Isometrics Manager

To label Eccentric reducer offset values in Isometrics drawing.

Background

In OpenPlant Isometrics Manager, for eccentric reducer there is no offset details by default. See image below after producing isometrics with default setup.

However, as per requirement user may add labels to display it in isometric drawing.

OpenPlant Modeler-OpenPlant Isometrics Manager

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Launch OpenPlant Isometrics Manager.
  2. Select Project unit, say OPModeler_Metric here and click OK.
  3. From Isometric configuration dialog, select “User Labels” node. 
  4. Add new Label, and enter value as shown in below image.

    For Imperial Unit

    Name ECCENTRIC OFFSET
    Include EC_CLASS=ECCENTRIC_PIPE_REDUCER
    Text $(DIM1:I) Offset
    Type PLANTC
    Cell Name PLANTC



    For Metric Unit

    Name ECCENTRIC OFFSET
    Include EC_CLASS=ECCENTRIC_PIPE_REDUCER
    Text $(DIM1:.0f) Offset
    Type PLANTC
    Cell Name PLANTC



  5. Save Settings.
  6. Launch OpenPlant Isometrics Manager and verify results.

AutoPLANT Modeler-OpenPlant Isometrics Manager

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Open "Isometric configuration" through Project Administrator. 
  2. Select Settings option and click on "Create/Modify" option.


     
  3. In Isometric Configuration window select the desired Style.
  4.  Add new Label, and enter value as shown in below image.

    For Imperial Unit

    Name ECCENTRIC OFFSET
    Include EC_CLASS=ECCENTRIC_PIPE_REDUCER
    Text $(DIM1:I) Offset
    Type PLANTC
    Cell Name PLANTC



    For Metric Unit

    Name ECCENTRIC OFFSET
    Include EC_CLASS=ECCENTRIC_PIPE_REDUCER
    Text $(DIM1:.0f) Offset
    Type PLANTC
    Cell Name PLANTC



  5. Save Settings.
  6. Launch OpenPlant Isometrics Manager and verify results.
