To Overwrite Already Placed Models in OpenPlant Orthographics Manager's Project Folder

Background

If user has placed/copied some models into project folders and done some changes in original models. Now if user wants to overwrite those models having same names but the updated ones then user needs to follow below mentioned steps.

Steps to Accomplish

1. Place updated models at some network location or in local drive
   
   
2. Launch OpenPlant Orthographics Manager and select a project in which you want to overwrite drawing models
   
   
   
   
3. Go to Settings –- > Copy Models
   
   
   
   
4. Copy Models User Interface will pop up
   
   
   
   
5. Give model locations from where you want to overwrite existing models
   
   
   
   
6. Check “Overwrite existing models” box
   
   
   
   
7. Save the locations (if you want to save location for future use)
   
   
   
   
8. Press “Copy Models” button
   
   
   
   
9. Copy model progress will be shown while copying models
   
   
   
   
10. Copy models status will be shown once Copy process completed, It will show the number of models being overwritten
    
    
    
    
11. Go to project directory and see models correctly overwritten in respected folder correctly
