    How to Define Default Weld Type

    In OpenPlant Modeler, user wants to define default weld type name.

    Background

    Below wiki article explains how to define default weld type for welds.  

    Steps to Accomplish

    1. Launch Bentley Class Editor,Open OpenPlant_3D.01.07. ecschema.
    2. Supplement with below highlighted schema as shown.
      Path: C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenPlantModelerV8i\WorkSpace\Projects\OPModeler_Metric\DataSet\Schemas

    3. Navigate to Weld Types class, switch to Properties tab.
    4. Click on Add... to add a new type of weld type property.



    5. For new weld type enter the details as shown below.



    6. Save all the changes.
    7. Navigate to below mentioned root, open OPModeler_Metric.pcf to edit.
      Default Path: C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenPlantModeler V8i\WorkSpace\Projects

    8. Search for variable OPM_DEFAULT_WELD_TYPE as shown below.



    9. Change weld type as WELD_ABC as shown below.


    10. Save all the settings & verify the result as shown below.
