How to Display Support Key Plan in Support Drawing

To display support Key Plan with respect to nearest key plan in Support Drawing.

Background

In OpenPlant Support Engineering, user requirement is to generate support key plan for grids. With latest release of OpenPlant Support Engineering, support key plan with respect to nearest column appear in support BOM if any grids are present in Model. Below steps highlights key feature of it.

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Launch OpenPlant Support Engineering. Select OPModeler_Metric here.
  2. Select working file and open.
  3. Attach an I model file as reference file.

  4. See below image of attached model with Grid lines and proposed support location mentioned on it.



    Note – For More details regarding placement of grids in OpenPlant Modeler, Click here >>>>

  5. Place a support on referenced pipeline, say Pipe Clamp here. See below arrangement.



  6. From Tool Cabinet, click on Generate Support Drawing Manually.



  7. Select support Assembly & click OK.



  8. Notice Support Key Plan with respect to nearest column grid.
