How to Make Changes in AutoPLANT to Place Mitered Pipe of more then 45 degree angle.

Overview

To make changes in AutoPLANT Modeler to place more then 45 degree Mitered pipe in the Model.

Background

By default user can only place the Mitered pipe up to maximum of 45 degree. If tried to place the Mitered pipe more then 45 degree it lands to an error as shown below

Follow the below given steps to make changes to place greater then 45 degree Mitered pipe in the model.

1. Locate the Scarf.ebs file from the below given Path.
   
   
   
   
2. Once located the Scarf.ebs file, copy the same and store at some different location. Also make a backup of the given file at some other location.
3. Once backup is done open the ebs file.
4. In the scarf.ebs file change from 45 degree to 70 degree as shown in the below given screenshot.
   
   
   
5. Once all the changes are done in the Scarf.ebs file, save and close the file.
6. Copy the edited file and paste it in the below given path.
   
   
   
7. Open the AutoPLANT Model and place the Mitered pipe and check if its allowing to place the angle more than 45 degree.
   
   
8. Checked that now able to place angle more than 45 Degree and the maximum angle up to which we can put is 70 degree as we put the same in the scarf.ebs file.
