In OpenPlant PID, when ever user Opens a New Project & a DGN file, every time they have to create Association Properties like Services, Plant Area, Unit & System. In this Wiki article customization steps are shown if in another project user is wanted to have same association property and they don't want to utilize their time to Recreate those Properties. They can Import properties from one Project to Another Project using Data Manager & Synchronization of Projects. In below steps, example is shown how to add service from one Project to another Project.
Launch Bentley Data Manager.
Close Project Administrator & Relaunch Data Manager.
Select OPPID Service Table, File, Export.
Select Database Type (here, Access), OK.
Select Table form the List & OK.
Now, Import that property in Required Project.
In Data Manager File à Open Project à Select Project à OK.
File à Import à Non-Tagged Data..
Again Navigate to OPPID Service table, If Not found in the ‘Select target Table’ (see below image) follow the same steps “Steps to achieve OPPID Service table in Data Manager”
Now, Verify OPPID_SERVICE table.
Launch OpenPlant PID, with new Project, here Imperial.
Create New DGN File, & Synch from ‘Plant Database to Drawing’.
After Successfully Synchronization from Database to Drawing, check the PID Document & Services.
